A 10-room beachfront hotel at Habaraduwa, opened in 2016 by George Cooper as the seaside sister of Kahanda Kanda, with every room facing the Indian Ocean.

A palm-shaded lawn runs from the 20-metre pool straight onto the sand, a turtle nesting beach, and the contemporary Sri Lankan art on the walls is all for sale.

There is no spa on site: guests are driven free to the spa, gym and yoga shala at Kahanda Kanda, 15 minutes inland.
