An 11-suite hotel in a Dutch mansion on Church Street that dates back about 300 years, restored with its Dutch walls and front conserved and its antiques repaired by specialist restorers.

Every suite has its own theme and furniture, and they are arranged around a frangipani courtyard and a pool framed by white colonnades.

The hotel's bar, Ropewalk, is given over to arrack, the island's coconut spirit, with tastings and a menu of Sri Lankan home cooking.
