A family-owned hotel of 8 rooms on Badulla Road in Nuwara Eliya, in an English country manor that became a guest house in 1881. It ran as the Junior Welcombe Hotel in the 1940s, has been owned by the same family since 1968, and has been restored, keeping its Victorian architecture.

There are 4 Super Deluxe Rooms of 315 to 345 sq ft, 2 Junior Suites of 485 sq ft with a clawfoot bathtub, and 2 Luxury Suites of 705 sq ft with a private balcony looking over the tea plantations. Every room has a king bed and a butler station.

The restaurant serves Sri Lankan, Thai, Western and fusion dishes from a menu planned with each guest, and a 6-course dinner, indoors or on a terrace over the gardens; the lounge and bar has a fireplace. There is a Balinese spa, a steam room and sauna, an indoor heated soaking pool, a library and a games room with a snooker table.
