A boutique hotel of 4 rooms in a house built in the late 19th century, during British rule, on Deva Veediya in the centre of Kandy. It belongs to the Seven Angels Collection, and its rooms are named the King, Queen, Prince and Princess.
The house keeps its period character, with ornate woodwork, large verandas and high ceilings. Every guest has a personal butler, and an in-house chef cooks Sri Lankan dishes from local market produce, served in the restaurant or in the room.
It stands a few minutes' walk from the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Lake and the town centre, and most of the sights around Kandy, from the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens to the old temples of Embekka, Gadaladeniya and Lankatilaka, lie within 40 minutes by road.
