A resort of 8 villas on 25 acres of unfenced dry-zone forest, grassland and water at Kumbukkadanwala, south-west of Sigiriya.

The villas were built in natural clearings with the large trees left standing, and sit well apart; each faces the forest from a terrace or balcony, and most have an outdoor rain shower.

Deer, wild boar, monkeys and more than 40 bird species use the grounds, and wild elephants sometimes pass through.
