An adults-only hotel of 27 suites on a rocky promontory above Bentota beach, which opened on Christmas Day 1995 and calls itself Sri Lanka's first boutique hotel.

Every suite faces the sea, with timber interiors, Italian leather furniture and an open-plan or open-air bathroom, and 3 suite types have their own pools.

An infinity pool with a pavilion runs along the top of the headland, and tables are set for dinner on the rock at the sea's edge.
