A 29-room hotel up a hill above Ella town, at Wamullahena in the Uva hill country, opened in 2017.

Rooms come in 9 categories, from 12 sq m doubles to 35 sq m suites for 4. Most face the mountains from a balcony, and they are furnished with dark timber four-poster beds set against yellow feature walls.

The hotel is known for its views on every side over Ella and the surrounding hills, and for its rooftop swimming pool. It also has a restaurant, a bar, a spa and an open roof terrace, and arranges excursions to the Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak and Ravana Falls.
