EKHO Hotels' boutique hotel in Ella: 12 rooms on a hillside in the town, looking out over the Ella Gap and the valleys and tea country around it.

The design takes its theme from a traditional Sri Lankan train, after the railway journey from Kandy to Ella. There are 7 Superior rooms, 3 Premier rooms and 2 Junior Suites, each Junior Suite with a private jacuzzi facing the mountains.

The restaurant seats 60, indoors or on a deck facing the Ella Gap, and cooks Sri Lankan, Western, Chinese, Indian and Arabic dishes, à la carte or as a buffet. Breakfast is included, a 45-minute yoga session is held every morning, and Little Adam's Peak, Ella Rock, the Nine Arch Bridge and Ravana Falls are all within a few kilometres.
