A 4-bedroom villa in heritage style, built from the ground up in 2017 by the British-Sri Lankan interior designer Dee Gibson, in tropical gardens 100 m from Turtle Beach.

It is taken whole for up to 8 guests or, outside school holidays, by the room, with a staff of 5 including a chef, a 15-metre pool and a double-height lounge furnished with antiques.

A yoga shala added in 2023 is home to Rila Yoga Studio, which runs classes and Yoga Alliance teacher training, and the house hosts wellness and creative retreats.

  • The house chef cooks for guests, with menus agreed with the manager, using the day's catch from local fishermen and local vegetables; meals are cooked in a separate kitchen building, and guests also have a kitchen of their own.

  • Rila Yoga Studio runs regular classes in the yoga shala in the grounds, and Yoga Alliance accredited teacher training.
  • Massages in the villa's massage room, and wellness workshops.
