An oceanfront estate of 9 living spaces for up to 22 guests on Weligama Bay: 4 suites in the main Villa Bawana, 4 stand-alone villas and a loft house with 2 suites.

Its founders, Carl and Nyuri, furnished it with handcrafted pieces and art, and the rooms range from a beach hut built on a Fibonacci spiral to a restored village house that sleeps 4.

Kicki & Nonna, a wine bistro with an in-house sommelier, serves food and wine above the sea, and there is a surf break just offshore.
