All 352 rooms and suites have private balconies facing the water, and the hotel runs 8 restaurants and bars, including Avartana, ITC's South Indian fine dining restaurant.

The design borrows from Sri Lanka, with terraces modelled on the tea gardens of Nuwara Eliya and lotus motifs in the lobby, and the building is certified LEED Platinum.
