A restored 19th-century tea planter's bungalow on the Pitaratmalie Estate near Haputale, with 7 suites each named after a figure from the history of the Uva tea country.

It stands in 20 acres of lawn and patana grass, with a 4,000-hectare tea plantation rising behind it to Lipton's Seat, 1,500 ft higher up.

Stays are all-inclusive and take in Lipton's Seat and the Dambatenne tea factory, built by Sir Thomas Lipton in 1890; an infinity pool faces the mountains.
