A hilltop house designed by the architect C. Anjalendran in the manner of a planter's bungalow, set above a working cinnamon plantation with views over Weligama Bay and inland to the hills.

It is furnished with antiques and Sri Lankan art, including Laki Senanayake's carved screen 'The Enchanted Forest' between the drawing and dining rooms, and wraps a courtyard pool.

The estate keeps a Cinnamon Museum and runs guided walks through the plantation to watch the bark being peeled.
