An independent boutique hotel in a grove of coconut and palmyra palms at Uppuveli, on the edge of the Pillaikulam Aru lagoon rather than on the beach.
The Junior Suites each have a private jacuzzi and a balcony over the lagoon; the Executive Suite, on the upper floor of the main building, has its own terrace, dining area and jacuzzi.
It is built around wellness, with an Ayurvedic spa run by Balinese and Sri Lankan therapists, and dinners served on a floating deck on the lagoon.
